Impact & Innovations:
Optimum fertilizers management on the basis of soil test reduced the cost on excessive fertilizers application with increased in crop yield by 15-20 per cent
70-75 per cent Grape and Pomegranate growers fallow the soil test based nutrient management for higher yield and quality.
Leaf/petiole testing facilities made available by Krishi Vigyan Kendra first time in district at village level and adoption is more in the commercial crops i.e. grapes 60-70 per cent, pomegranate 35-40 per cent and vegetables/sugarcane is 20-25 per cent.
Leal/petiole test nutrient management popular among the grape and pomegranate growersfor export quality production.
