Impact
KVKs intervention through training and demonstration farmers started their own vermicompost units.
Vermicompost production technology is now becomes popular among the farming community, total 350 units so far, ten farmers started vermiwash and 5 farmers started vermiculture production.
Ten rural youths started vermicompost,vermiculture and vermiwash production on commercial basis as a self employment .
Due to fresh quality vermicompost made available by KVK the use of vermicompost has been increased.
Eudrillus Eugene spp. becomes popular among the Farmers.
