The KVK Babhaleshwar begins trial transmission of radio programmes from its KVK Pravara Community Radio that paves the way for establishment of KVK Pravara Community Radio Station 90.8 MHz FM dedicated to the farming community in its 20-25 km radii.

KVK Babhaleshwar organized Frontline Demonstration Programme on Cotton on 375 acres in four villages of Ahmednagar District during the ongoing Kharif under Mini Mission Cotton-II. Programme components include Integrated Nutrient Management and Integrated Pest Management.

Half Yearly Workshop of KVKs of Zone-V was held between 24-25 April 2006 at ZCU, CRIDA Complex, Hyderabad. The action plan and report was presented by KVK Babhaleshwar. A live demonstration of KVK's recently started Computer to Mobile SMS Broadcast Service was made in front of the Zonal Coordinator.
The KVK Babhaleshwar took part in the National Convention of KVKs and exhibited ICT initiatives on Broadband connectivity provided to it exclusively during the Exhibition that was held between 27-28 October 2005 at Pusa, New Delhi.
